Listening, feeling and crafting your artwork. Every painting begins with your story and ends with everyone who celebrated it. HOW IT WORKS:
Before the wedding, I paint a large original about the two of you. At the reception it waits on an easel with one invitation: leave your mark.
Guests add their own strokes, words and small drawings, and i bring it all together into a meaningful piece of art for your home.
You answer a short questionnaire about the places, words, pets and all the things that matter to you. Those become the imagery.
1. YOUR STORYI paint the original in my studio, 45 by 38 inches. You select the palette and color scheme.
2. THE PAINTINGI spend three hours at your cocktail hour or reception, setup included. Guests warm up on a sketch book, then add to the art with my help.
3. YOUR WEDDINGBack in the studio I weave the guests’ marks into the composition and seal it with an archival finish.
4. FINISHINGI frame the art in a natural wood frame (light or dark) chosen for the wall it will live on, sign it or leave it unsigned, and deliver it to you.
